BSE Auto index is losing ground. Tata Motors is down by 1.31%, Bosch is down by 1.41%, Ashok Leyland is down by 1.79% and Bharat Forge is down by 1.31%. Tata Motors contributed 70% to the index losses.

At 3 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28,301.59 down 137.69 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,758.90 down 42.15 points. A total of 90 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 9 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.35% at 13430.94, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.24% at 13507.35.

Some buying activity is seen in Energy, FMCG, Finance and Healthcare indices, while Industrials, IT, Auto, Bankex indices are showing weakness on BSE.

BHEL, BPCL, Infratel, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ONGC are among the gainers, whereas Tata Motors DVR, Tata Motors, Bosch Ltd., Zeel and ACC are losing sheen on NSE.
