Rupee traded higher by 26 paise at 67.11 against the U.S. dollar on Monday as exporters and banks stepped up selling of the American currency.Forex dealers said a strong opening in domestic equity markets beefed up the rupee, but dollar’s strength against other currencies overseas following bigger-than-expected jump in U.S. job creation capped rupee’s gains.The rupee had gained 2 paise to close at 67.37 on Friday after fresh selling of the greenback amid volatile domestic equities.Meanwhile, the Sensex soared 404.46 points, or 1.49 per cent, to 27,531.36 in early trade.
